You have chosen to receive your therapy care from the best clinicians in the industry, with years of experience and extensive clinical education. We apply an evidence basis in our care planning to ensure clinical best practices and to facilitate optimal clinical outcomes – enabling you to feel better, perform better, and be better – as efficiently as possible. Moreover, we have specialized therapists who have an expanded depth and breadth of knowledge in several key clinical areas including orthopedics, pain management, neurological disorders, oncology / lymphedema, and wound care, among others. Many of our clinicians are currently participating in internal and external research endeavors to improve our understanding of treatment and improve our outcomes in these areas.

ProgressiveHealth at Deaconess endorses a pathway approach to care in which patients benefit from communication among therapists involved with your care across all settings. We believe that should your care involve, for instance, a progression through inpatient to long term care and then to outpatient, you should not be starting over at each change in setting. Rather, your rehabilitation experience should involve as smooth of transition as possible between each setting, facilitating a more pleasant experience for you and a more efficient return to function.
